Furlough scheme: From 1 July, employers have been required to pay 10% of wage costs (during furlough hours) for furloughed staff, and this will rise to 20% from 1 August 2021.

Vaccination: The Government has released guidance for employers on encouraging staff to get vaccinated.   As vaccine status looks to be a key element of the Government's easing of lockdown restrictions, encouraging vaccination is likely to benefit both staff and the business.
